July 15th, 2014 → 7:02 pm @

When it comes to oral health it is important to brush your teeth, but it is even more important to brush them using the proper technique. If you brush them improperly, you may be doing more harm than good. Watch this video to find out if you are brushing your teeth too hard.

The first sign that you are brushing your teeth too hard is the quick wearing or warping of the bristles on your toothbrush. The bristles should retain a relatively straight figure for a while before being discarded. Brushing your teeth properly involves a gentle motion where your gums and teeth meet as well as on the chewing surfaces. You should not brush for longer than two minutes at a time.
